CARISSA - FRONT DESK AND DENTAL ASSISTANT
Getting to know our patients and their families, and establishing relationships with them, makes my days wonderful. Our patients are incredible individuals and they always have something new to share with us, whether it’s the latest news about their family, plans for their next vacation, or a recommendation for a good a book. I work primarily in our front office: checking patients in and out, answering the phones, scheduling and confirming appointments, and checking and answering emails. I also send referrals to specialists and coordinate with specialists’ offices for mutual patient appointments, order office supplies, and schedule laboratory pickup and drop-off. Additionally, I am a dental assistant and you’ll sometimes find me in the back office. While I’m always busy, I always have time for a chat with a patient! As for my personal life, I have been married since 2008 and we have two daughters, Emberlie and Madison. In my free time, I enjoy doing crafts with the girls, home projects, and visiting with family.
HANNAH - INSURANCE COORDINATOR
Hanna comes to Forest Creek Family Dental with 14 years of experience in the dental field; first as a registered dental assistant before becoming an insurance coordinator. She currently resides in Austin where she was born and raised, with her two daughters. She enjoys meeting new faces every day and making everyone feel welcome in our office. When out of the office Hannah loves to travel and spend time with her family. Her passion is family and helping others.

STACY - DENTAL HYGIENIST
I love that my job brings me into contact with such interesting people every day. Each morning I come into the office knowing that I will be having fascinating conversations, learning something new from an exchange, and laughing a lot. Our patients really are wonderful people and it’s an honor to be able to help them achieve great oral health. I perform oral cancer screenings and teeth cleanings, provide gum disease therapy and periodontal evaluation and charting, apply fluoride and sealants, and take X-rays. I also talk with our patients about nutrition and how to keep their oral cavity healthy between their dental cleanings in our office. Helping a patient learn proper home care processes, and seeing the difference it makes when people come in for their next appointment, is incredibly rewarding. I have a daughter with whom I love spending time. We love the outdoors, taking walks, and traveling to see new places. I also have a rescue Boxer named Sophie that we adore. She keeps us laughing every day!
SONIA - DENTAL HYGIENIST
Joining Dr. Gaddy and her team has been a pleasure. This is a true family practice where we see the whole family, sometimes including the grandparents! It makes work very interesting when I see patients ranging in age from two to 101. I like being able to help our patients achieve and maintain beautiful, healthy smiles that will last a lifetime. I enjoy working in a comfortable setting with patients and understand that their needs come first. As a dental hygienist, I help Dr. Gaddy in the diagnosis and treatment-planning phases of our patients’ care while they are here for their teeth cleanings. I also provide periodontal treatment, apply fluoride and sealants, take digital X-rays, and offer home-care instructions.
MELINDA - DENTAL ASSISTANT & FRONT DESK
A native Austinite, Melinda and her family currently reside in round rock. When they aren’t cheering kids on at sporting events Melinda enjoys exploring the outdoors, restoring furniture, and spending time with family. Melinda has been in the dental field over 25 years as an RDA. She has certifications in monitoring nitrous oxide, jurisprudence, infection control, and Radiology. She is the first smile you see when coming in our office and is always happy to help make your dental visit the very best.
SONYA - DENTAL ASSISTANT
It is such a great feeling to know that I’m helping people live healthier, happier lives every day I come to work. I’ve worked in the dental field for almost 20 years and joined Dr. Gaddy’s team in 2019. It’s always been my goal to make sure our patients are comfortable before and after their dental treatment, and to make their dental experience as seamless as possible. This is a great office, with a doctor and a team who are all very close-knit. We share the mission to give our patients the best care and have a great time doing it! My husband and I met almost 20 years ago and have moved all around the great state of Texas, finally settling in Pflugerville. We have two daughters, Tammie and Taylor. As a family, we enjoy the outdoors, whether we’re camping or at the lake.
ZAY - DENTAL ASSISTANT
Hey y’all! I’m Zay and I’m Texas born and raised. I have been working as a Dental Assistant since 2020, and have simply fallen in love with fixing smiles. Joining Dr. Gaddy’s team has been amazing, and the care she puts into every patient inspires me everyday. Around the office I help out with all treatment, but whitening is where I shine. I’m head of our Kor whitening system and nothing makes me more proud than to see patients confident smiles after treatment. When I’m not in the office I spend my free time painting, collecting eggs from my chickens, and spending time with my puppy Cowboy.
MONICA - DENTAL HYGIENIST
Hi, my name is Monica Hernandez. I am a Texas-born native. I started my dental career in 2004 as a dental assistant. Throughout the years, as an assistant, I learned a smile is everything. I decided to further my dental knowledge and graduated from Coastal Bend College as a hygienist in 2015. I’ve had the pleasure of working with Dr. Gaddy and the team since 2021, and strive to continue to deliver the most gentle care to each patient. On my time off I enjoy nature, live music and hanging out with friends and family. And yes, I bleed orange. I am a true Texas Longhorn fan. Hook ‘em!
