Being a dentist allows me the freedom to be my own boss and to see and help so many different people and personalities. I am honored to have a personal relationship with my patients and take pride in the fact that they love coming to our office. It is a testament to my great staff that so many of our new patients are a result of referrals from their friends and families. There is no higher compliment than a referral from an existing patient, and I never tire of hearing “That was my best dental experience ever!”
Education and Continuing Education
- Undergraduate education – University of Texas at Austin
- Doctorate of Dental Surgery – University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio
I strongly believe that, in order to serve my patients best, I must keep my knowledge and abilities up to date by learning the latest technological and treatment options. It is only by staying current with leading-edge skills that I am able to continually provide my patients with the widest range of proven options to meet their oral healthcare needs. I am a member of the Lone Star Chapter of the Seattle Study Club, which meets monthly for continuing dental education with professional lectures. Once a month, on a Friday, a group of us meet to do All-on-4® implant-retained denture cases, too.
Personal Life
I was raised here in Round Rock and attended the University of Texas. Following four years of dental school at the Health Science Center at San Antonio in 1995, I returned to my hometown. I live with my husband Mark, and we have two sons, Ryan and Andrew.
Mark teaches special needs children in RRISD. Our oldest son, Ryan, is studying business finance at Texas Tech. Andrew is still at home and is a senior at Cedar Ridge High School. Right now, my life revolves around family and our endless activities. When I have the time, I like to run, swim, read, and watch Andrew play lacrosse with his high school team.
In the Community
I attend church at The Fellowship Church Round Rock and enjoy going on mission trips every year to Honduras to provide dental treatment to children. I am also a board member for the Agape Pregnancy Resource Center in Round Rock.
